Need To Know Road Closures For US 183
• Friday (6/29), Monday (7/2), and Thursday (7/5) from 8 pm to 6 am, the on ramp to US 183 southbound from MLK Jr., Blvd will be closed. Drivers will follow a signed detour via Tannehill Lane to TechniCenter Drive to access southbound US 183.
• Saturday (6/30), Monday through Tuesday (7/2-3), and Thursday through Friday (7/5-6) from 7 am to 5 pm, Hudson Street will be reduced to one lane between Hibbetts Road and US 183; watch for flaggers to assist traffic through this closure.
• Monday (7/2) from 9 am to 3 pm and continuously beginning Thursday (7/5) from 9 am till Saturday (7/7) at 10 am, eastbound MLK Jr., Blvd will be reduced to one lane at the intersection over US 183. In addition, the right turn lane of the US 183 southbound frontage road will be closed.
• Thursday (7/5) from 8 pm to 6 am, the exit to northbound Airport Boulevard at US 183 will be closed. Northbound traffic to continue on US 183 and take the signed detour at the Bolm Road exit.
• Friday (7/6) from 8 pm to 2 am, the US 183 northbound mainlanes will be closed below MLK Jr., Blvd; from 2 am to 10 am, the US 183 southbound mainlanes will be closed below MLK Jr., Blvd. For both closures, exit for MLK Jr., Blvd and detour through the signalized intersection. Also, from 8 pm to 2 am, the US 183 northbound mainlanes will be reduced by one lane between Bolm Rd and MLK Jr., Blvd.

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) is an independent government agency created in 2002 to improve the transportation system in Williamson and Travis counties.
According to their website, their mission is “to implement innovative, multi-modal transportation solutions that reduce congestion and create transportation choices that enhance quality of life and economic vitality.”
The Mobility Authority was created and operates under the Texas Transportation Code Chapter 370 and is authorized under state law to implement a wide range of transportation systems including roadways, airports, seaports and transit services.
The Mobility Authority is authorized to issue revenue bonds to fund projects and can utilize user fees and/or taxes to fund operations and repay bonds.
