Veterans Day Events Message From TX Rep. Jason Isaac

November 11 is Veterans Day and there are a number of local events throughout Hays and Blanco Counties you can participate in to show your support. I hope you will take the time to join me at one or more of these events to honor our heroes. If you plan to attend any of the events at our schools, please be sure to check in at the front office first. 


San Marcos Veterans Breakfast

When: Saturday, November 7

Time: 8:30 am-10 am

The parade was cancelled, but please join me in San Marcos Saturday for their Veterans Breakfast. Hays County elected officials and members of the community will be speaking, but don’t let that keep you away, there will be performances by A Capella Unlimited and Head to Toe Dance.  Pinwheel making for the kids will be from 8:30 am-9:15 am and the pinwheel parade will begin at 9:30 am. Elementary school aged youth that participate in the pinwheel parade will be entered into a drawing with the Kiwanis Club for a chance to win free bikes. 


Blanco County Veterans Parade

When: Saturday, November 7

Time: 10 am

Where: Old Blanco County Courthouse

Buda 9th Annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast

When: Tuesday, November 10
