  1. 1. It’s not just their per diem. They are costing Texas the full cost of per diem for every Representative and Senator that stayed in Texas too. That is probably where Rep Patterson got his numbers from. Additionally, they are costing their families/daily-employers their regular salaries and production. Texas needs to sue these fools and supporting caucuses for the full cost of this special session and encourage the Reps that stayed to submit for claims too.

    2. Did Bert Francis O’Rourke ever take that teaching position at Texas State? The only thing that show up on their website is that he was hired. I’m thinking his comments & support undermine the proper function of the government that would be employing him. Ethics?
