State And FEMA Close Several Texas Recovery Facilities Early Due To Weather

Caldwell County:
  • The recovery facility in Martindale is located at 12351 Highway 152, Martindale, TX.  .
Hays County:
  • The San Marcos County Mobile Registration Intake Center is located at the parking lot between the San Marcos Activity Center and San Marcos Public Library, 501 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, TX .
  • The Disaster Recovery Center in Wimberley is located at Danforth Junior High School, 200 Texan Blvd., Wimberley, TX.
 Harris County:
  • The recovery facility is located at the Meyerland Community Improvement Association at 4999 West Bellfort, Houston, TX.
  • The recovery facility is located at Spring Woods Middle School, 9810 Neuens Road, Houston, TX.
Open today (6/16) weather permitting and closed tomorrow (6/17)
 
Henderson County:
  • The Mobile Registration Intake Center is located at the Cain Center, 915 S. Palestine, Athens, TX

Individuals and business owners who sustained losses in the May 4 flooding disaster can apply for assistance by registering online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov.  Survivors can also apply for assistance or have questions answered by calling toll-free 800-621-FEMA (3362).

Disaster assistance applicants who have a speech disability or hearing loss and use TTY should call 800-462-7585 directly; for users of 711 or Video Relay Service (VRS), call 800-621-3362. The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. (local time) seven days a week until further notice.
