World Tai Chi And Qigong Day Exhibition Opens To The Community

San Marcos, TX- World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is on April 29th, and the Center will be participating by hosting a Tai Chi and Qigong exhibition at 10 a.m. on the front lawn.

This educational event brings people together across ethnic, racial, religious, and geopolitical borders in a celebration of personal and global health and healing.

Not only is this exhibition happening in San Marcos, but also over 70 different nations will be partaking in this worldwide celebration.

World Tai Chi & Qigong Day is a free global public health and healing project, created to save global society trillions of dollars annually by educating the public worldwide of the profoundly exciting medical research on the mind-body health therapies of Tai Chi & Qigong. From reducing depression, anxiety, and ADHD symptoms to increasing immune function, brain size, and dexterity, Tai Chi and Qigong can benefit anyone and everyone.

The Price Center is an active advocate for living a healthy lifestyle, so we strongly encourage anyone who can make it to attend.

Aside from World Tai Chi and Qigong Day, the Center hosts weekly community classes that include yoga, Zumba, and Tai Chi.

“All of our efforts are designed to keep one socially, mentally, emotionally, creatively, physically and even nutritionally fit,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director.

The Price Center, which is operated by the Greater San Marcos Area Seniors Association (GSMASA), a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, focuses on healthy and active living.
