Traffic Alert: Sessom Drive To Be Reduced To One Lane Nightly

Motorists are reminded to slow down, obey traffic controls, and use caution in and around construction zones.

On Sunday, March 11, at 7 p.m. construction crews will begin nighttime mill and overlay work on a portion of Sessom Drive between N LBJ and Pleasant Street, reducing the roadway to one traffic lane evenings until 5 a.m. Police officers and flaggers will be present to direct traffic.

The work will occur between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday, March 11 until Friday, March 16. Sessom will re-open to two lanes by 5 a.m. each morning.

This is one of the final tasks of the Sessom Bike/Pedestrian upgrade and Peques Street improvement project that began in the spring of 2017.
