SMCISD Board Of Trustees To Hold Special Meeting

The San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District Board of Trustees will hold an emergency meeting on Thursday, March 19.

Trustees will discuss and consider possible action on three items related to school operations and Coronavirus.

• Discussion/Action Re: Modification of School Calendar and Work Days Due to School Closure Caused by Covid 19 and Matters Related Thereto

• Discussion/Action Re: District’s Plan Affecting Instruction, Operations, Students and Staff due to Covid 19 Pandemic and Matters Related Thereto

• Discussion/Action Re: Resolution to Pay Employees’ Compensation Due to School Closure Caused by Covid 19

The meeting will convene at San Marcos High School at 9 AM, Thursday. A public comment period will be held at the beginning of the meeting.
