City, County Now Have Structure In Place For Organizations And Donations
Emergency Operations Center, San Marcos, TX — A structure has been put in place for volunteer organizations who want to offer assistance to Hays County flood and storm victims, and for companies and individuals who would like to donate the use of equipment for use in disaster relief.
Those organizations and companies should email hayscoflood@co.hays.tx.us and give the following information in their email:
- Name of company/organization
- Point of contact name
- Email and phone number, and a
- Detailed list of the equipment that you are offering, or
- For volunteer organizations, the number of people and their specialties/abilities. That information will be forwarded to an administrator who will contact you if your resources can be of assistance now or in the future.
On Tuesday, the County will issue contact information for individuals who want to assist in the relief effort, but are not associated with a volunteer organization.
