San Marcos To Conduct Entrance Exam For Firefighters
Firefighters in San Marcos receive a starting salary of $3,986 per month and are eligible to receive incentive pay for education, TCFP certification, and/or advanced EMS certifications.
The City of San Marcos will conduct a Civil Service Entrance Examination at 9 a.m. April 21 at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins, to establish an eligibility list for hiring firefighters.
Applicants must submit all required documents online by April 17 online at the “Firefighter (Register for Entrance Examination)” posting at www.sanmarcostx.gov/jobs.
