Texas State’s Annual Pro Day 2016

 

Texas State’s Pro Day, along with Texas-San Antonio’s pro day, kicks off what many refer to as “The Texas Cattle Drive.” This is a busy week for pro day activity in the state of Texas.

 

NFL scouts measure the heights and weights for each of the Bobcats before testing the players in the bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 40-yard dash, agility drills around cones and a shuttle run.

Braeden Kent from Buda, Texas is the only player to hard commit thus far.

 

Texas State’s new head coach Everett Withers, seems to be systematically building a championship bound team, after officially setting his coaching staff of six assistant coaches, including offensive coordinator/ quarterbacks coach Brett Elliott, wide receivers coach/ special teams coordinator Parker Fleming , offensive line coach/ recruiting coordinator Adrian Mayes, outside linebackers coach Tyler Santucci, defensive coordinator Randall McCray and defensive line coach Vince Oghobaase at the start of the year.
