Alert: Bat Tested Positive For Rabies
Avoid contact with wild animals, such as bats, due to the risk of rabies.
On March 22, 2017, a live bat was found at 1100 N. Main St. (Santa Cruz Catholic Church) at approximately 5:30 p.m. outside between the playscape and educational building.
The bat was tested by the Department of State Health Services and was found to be positive for rabies.
