Austin, Travis County Offer Support To Those Impacted By Harvey
Central Texas and Texas VOAD consists of local, regional, and national nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and governmental partners that coordinate disaster relief, response and recovery.
The City of Austin and Travis County encourage people interested in supporting flood survivors who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey to make monetary donations to established, reputable organizations assisting in relief and recovery efforts.
Monetary contributions allow relief organizations the greatest flexibility in meeting the needs of flood survivors quickly.
Monetary donations also reduce the labor and expense of sorting, packing and distributing donated goods. No donations are being accepted for clothing, food, or other supplies and materials.
