CASA Of Central Texas Swears In New Class Of Volunteer Advocates
There is more than 700 children in Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe and Hays Counties.
The latest class of Court Appointed Special Advocates of Central Texas was sworn in August 30.
These volunteers will soon be assigned to children who have been removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect and are now in the state’s care.
As advocates, the volunteers will get to know everyone in the children’s lives and speak up for them in court, advocating for their best interest.
More than half of the children in State care do not have a CASA volunteer in Central Texas. And there is more than 700 children in Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe and Hays Counties.
