Central Texas Medical Center Offers Discounted Healthcheck Screenings

Those who attended a pre-event community blood will have the opportunity to review their results with a clinical provider at the HealthCheck event.

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – There is still a chance to get a discounted blood screening at Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) CREATION HealthCheck event.

Blood draws will be offered on-site at the HealthCheck fair on Tuesday, April 18 at Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa & Conference Center in San Marcos.

Although the event will run until 3 p.m., the blood draw will take place from 7 to 10 a.m. Those interested should register by calling (512) 753-3818.

For just $30, participants can get $500 in valuable health screenings for a low $30 rate. The basic screening panel includes:

  • Complete Metabolic Panel (screening for glucose, renal and liver disorders)
  • Lipid Panel (cholesterol with HDL/LDL breakdown, triglycerides)
  • Complete Blood Cell Count (white blood cell, hemoglobin, hematocrit and platelets)

CREATION HealthCheck makes several additional screenings available for a low fee as well, including:

  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, or TSH ($15)
  • Hemoglobin A1C ($15)
  • Vitamin D ($15)
  • Hepatitis C ($15)

Those who attended a pre-event community blood will have the opportunity to review their results with a clinical provider at the HealthCheck event. All others will receive their results in the mail.
