Community Impact Editor Bids Farewell To The Community
On Aug. 14, the editor of Community Impact, who reported on local issues and events for the San Marcos, Buda, Kyle area, announced his departure from the newspaper.
Brett Thorne has covered Hays County news for the last five years. However, yesterday, he announced this would be his last issue of Community Impact and introduced the community to the paper’s new editor, Marie Albiges.
In his announcement on Community Impact, Thorne said a new opportunity is taking him to New Orleans.
