Native plants use less water and can handle hot Texas summers better than non-native species. Discovery Center staff and volunteers will be available to help visitors pick the perfect plant to bring butterflies and hummingbirds to their garden.

Learn about the importance of pollinators like the monarch butterfly, and how residents can help support monarch conservation. Choose from a variety of milkweed and pollinator species to create personal monarch-friendly gardens.

All proceeds from the sale benefits the Discovery Center’s Native Plant Program. For more information, call the Discovery Center at 512.393.8327.
