Hays County President’s Day Proclamation
Hays County Judge Ruben Becerra recognized the role that public service has in our society as part of the President’s Day Celebration.
Cadets from the Gary Job Corps’ Corrections/Security Academy posted flags around the Hays County Courthouse with the Kiwanis Club of San Marcos; which is annually done for President’s Day.
100’s attended the event, as Judge Becerra read the Proclamation, further stating that four former Presidents were Texans: Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon Baines Johnson, George H.W. Bush, and George W. Bush.
