Hays County, Local Municipalities Announce Upcoming Holiday Office Closures
City of San Marcos offices, including City Hall, Public Library, Activity Center, Municipal Court, Animal Shelter, Discovery Center, and Utility Offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, for the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
Since City facilities are already closed to the public due to COVID-19 precautions, this means that all phone, email, curbside, drive-thru, and fax services will be unavailable and these services will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
Additional Details:
- San Marcos THE BUS and CARTS routes will not operate on MLK Jr. day. Operations will resume per schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
- Public Library curbside services will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
- Trash and recycling services through TDS will run on schedule for the week.
- Emergency animal services may be contacted by calling San Marcos Police Department non-emergency line at 512.753.2108.
Buda
All city offices, including the Buda Public Library, will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Kyle
City of Kyle offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Hays County
Hays County Courthouse, San Marcos, TX – Hays County offices will be closed Monday, January 16, to observe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.
The City of San Marcos Municipal Court, located in the Hays County Government Center, will also be closed. County parks will be open.
