Hays CISD: Special Event for Middle and High School Students and Parents

Middle and high school students and their parents are invited to learn more about Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, courses, college admissions, financial aid, and how to prepare your middle school student for high school. 

The event takes place at the Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, January 6, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. 
Included in the agenda is a special presentation from 8:00-8:30 on House Bill 5 high school graduation requirements and endorsement opportunities for 8th and 9th grade students. 
The Austin Community College Mobile Go Van will be available in the parking lot for seniors to take advantage of filing their Texas college financial aid applications.

MPR 2- 7:00 and 7:30 – What Middle School Parents and Students Should Know For High School Success- College Board

8:00-HB 5 – Graduation Requirements and Endorsements-District Counselors

6:00-8:00 – Mobile Go Van-Seniors: FAFSA and College Applications

6:00-8:30 – Foyer: 9th-12th  Grade Checklists and Meet the HS Counselors
