Local City, County Government Office Closures Announced

Washington’s Birthday is a United States federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February in honor of George Washington, the first President of the United States, who was born on February 22, 1732.

City of San Marcos offices, including City Hall, Library, Activity Center, Municipal Court and Utility Offices, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents’ Day. Texas Disposal Systems will operate its usual Monday trash and recycling collection routes.

Offices will open at usual times on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

BUDA

All city offices, including the Buda Public Library, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, in observance of Presidents’ Day.
