SMCISD – Mendez lab studies squid

Mendez Elementary 5^th grade pupils studied squid in Science Lab on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. The students were excited about the hands on experience as they discussed the shape and measured the squids.

Teacher Michelle Wadsworth and Science Coach Maria Thompson conducted the lab. They used a hand held magnifier to examine the specimens. Before the end of class, the students dissected the squids.
