Stars Of Texas Gala Silent Auction To Feature Sports Memorabilia, Vacations

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – There is something for everyone in this year’s Stars of Texas Gala silent auction. Guests will be able to bid on items in real time from their cell phones via a mobile bidding system.
 
One lucky bidder will receive an Alaskan fishing trip valued at $10,000. The trip includes lodging for one week, food and airfare and was donated by Randall and Kathy Morris, and Kaare and Brenda Remme.
 
Country music fans won’t want to miss a chance to bid on a Las Vegas Country Music weekend, donated by CTMC Foundation board member Tommy Foote. The package includes two tickets to see George Strait on December 2, and Reba McEntire on December 3, as well as a three-night hotel stay in New York, New York.
 
Sports fans are also in for a special treat. There will be two courtside floor seat Spurs tickets up for grabs, donated by Central Texas Pain Center. A Super Bowl Couples Retreat, donated by Embassy Suites – San Marcos, will include a game day hospitality room, five hotel rooms and a couple’s massage.

Two Spurs jerseys autographed by La Marcus Aldridge and 2014 NBA Finals MVP and two-time NBA defensive player of the year, Kawhi Leonard will also be featured in the silent auction, as well as nine-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time NFL all –pro autographed Jason Witten Dallas Cowboys jersey.
 
In addition to the unique silent auction, Hays County’s premiere black tie event will feature gourmet dining and entertainment by The Bellamy Brothers. Proceeds will benefit the Ingram Heart Center at CTMC.
 
The Stars of Texas Gala will take place on Sunday, October 23 at Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center in San Marcos. Tickets cost $200 and may be purchased no later than October 17 at ctmcgala.com. For more information, please call the CTMC Foundation Office at (512) 753-3687.
