TxDOT To Close Alternating Lanes On FM 1626 This Week

On Friday, May 24, the City of Buda announced upcoming lane closures on FM 1626.

Due to construction by the Texas Department of Transportation, there will be alternating closures of one southbound lane of 1626 at Onion Creek and Mustang Creek starting on Wednesday, May 29.

Currently, TxDOT is in the process of widening FM 1626 at Onion Creek and Mustang Creek from a two-lane road to a four-lane road between FM 927 and Jack C Hays Trail (FM 2770).

May 29, 2019 – One southbound Lane of 1626 closed at Onion Creek – 6 PM to 3 AM
May 30, 2019 – One southbound Lane of 1626 closed at Mustang Creek – 6 PM to 3 AM
June 1, 2019 – One southbound Lane of 1626 closed at Onion Creek – 6 PM to 3 AM
June 2, 2019 – One southbound Lane of 1626 closed at Mustang Creek – 6 PM to 3 AM
