New luxury apartment community announced in San Marcos

San Marcos TX – Kalterra Capital Partners has announced a new multi-family project strategically located along the rapidly growing Interstate 35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio.

The Dylan, currently under construction in San Marcos, is directly adjacent to McCarty Commons Apartments, which Kalterra developed in 2018.

Kalterra is expecting The Dylan to achieve the same level of success experienced by McCarty Commons. Like its predecessor, the new property will offer future residents bountiful shopping, restaurants, recreation, and employment opportunities.

Virtual Builders Exchange (VBX) last reported on the project in February when Kalterra Capital Partners received approval of a final development plat from the Planning and Zoning Commission.

“We’re seeking to build on Kalterra’s incredible success with developing the McCarty Commons property, which we sold last year,” said Head of Development Nic Balsamo. “Like its predecessor, The Dylan will offer the best amenities available to residents in this fast-growing area. We are fortunate to have experience developing a past project in the market, which helps us refine our community’s design and deliver a product that will excite our future prospective tenants. The property offers future residents limitless shopping, restaurants, and employment opportunities nearby.”

The Dylan will include 249 multifamily units with top-of-the-line amenities, including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, private patios, and balconies. Tenants will enjoy a resort-like swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, sand volleyball court, extensive green space, and the option to rent a garage or carport.

Kalterra Capital Partners is also the developer of The Verge, located at Kohlers Crossing in Kyle, with an expected completion date of 3Q of 2023.

The Dylan is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2023.
